Climb to Empower
Two US Empowered Board Members showed their commitment to US Empowered by climbing 10,000 Stairs! Eddie Lou of OCA Ventures and Kevin Slaughter of Dykema ran the equivalent of the five largest buildings soon to stand in Chicago, the Sears Tower, the Chicago Spire, the John Hancock Center, the Aon Center, and the Trump Tower. In doing so, they raised almost $20,000 to support US Empowered.

Banco Popular Half Marathon
Rachel Jordan, Tiyana Osborne, and Wynton Shannon ran the Banco Popular Half Marathon with their teacher Nina Parikh. The team ran after fundraising to support US Empowered and finshed all 13.1 miles in the rain!
